ADAPTIVE BIKE GIVEAWAY

HELP US CHANGE LIVES!

This year for Everybody Rides 2020 Presented by ALDI, we will be hosting our annual Adaptive Bike Giveaway Facebook Contest. We will be giving away a brand new Freedom Concepts Adaptive Bike which could be one of the following: DCP Mini, DCP 12, DCP 16, AS 2000 (does not include Freedom Concepts Tandem). *Final decision on which bike will be decided by Founder Hal Honeyman based on the evaluation of the individual.

Throughout the years at our annual fundraising events Project Mobility has been giving away adaptive bicycles to children, adults and wounded soldiers with disabilities. All you have to do is tell us why you or someone you know needs an adaptive bike. Then you share your story with your friends and families on Facebook. The person with the most “likes” wins the adaptive bike. It's that simple!

Nominate a child in your life with a disability!

The winning person will be presented their adaptive bike at our Facebook Live Presentation at our 8th Annual Everybody Rides #VirtualEdition Presented by ALDI on Sunday, August 30th at The Bike Rack parking lot in St. Charles, IL.

*Winner MUST be present

**Social distancing and wearing masks will be mandatory

Help us give away more than 1 adaptive bike, the more money that we raise the more giveaways we can do!  CLICK HERE TO DONATE TO PROJECT MOBILITY.

"Freedom – it means different things to different people. At Freedom Concepts Inc. it means manufacturing products for general mobility, physical therapy and recreation – striving towards Creating a Cycle of Mobilitythroughout the world.

Freedom Concepts Inc. was founded in 1991 when President and CEO, Ken Vanstraelen, received a special request to build a bike for a young boy with cerebral palsy. This one bike was such a huge success that new requests started pouring in. Since this first bike, Freedom Concepts Inc. has blossomed into a company dedicated to imagining, designing and building products that enhance overall quality of life.

From the beginning, every Freedom Concepts Inc. product has been tailored to the individual needs of the people using them. Many of these customers had never experienced the thrill, exhilaration and simple joy of riding a bike. Whereas several more weren’t aware that products like these exist. Throughout the 25 years in the healthcare industry, Freedom Concepts Inc. has innovated 18 different adaptive tricycle models for riders of all ages and abilities. Each model can be customized with special seating, foot plates, or head rests that make riding safe and comfortable for anyone who gets placed on a bike. Freedom Concepts Inc. has always been known for its ability to take on custom builds or innovate something that doesn’t exist yet. Any bike can be further customized and adjusted to the exact specifications and unique requirements of the rider, ensuring that each Freedom Concepts bike is a perfect fit.

Already an established brand name in the North American mobility market, Freedom Concepts Inc. did it again in the alternative seating market with the launch of Chill-Out Chairs in 2006. Freedom Concepts Inc. introduced the Rock’er and Roll’er Chill-Out Chairs, which can be found in schools, hospitals and therapy centers throughout Canada and the United States. The Chill-Out Chairs brand is a recognized leader in the alternative seating industry, offering people with disabilities the benefit of normalcy, dignity and comfort.

Today, Freedom Concepts Inc. has built a strong team of passionate and talented individuals, all sharing one same passion for helping people with special needs. In addition to the internal staff, Freedom Concepts Inc. works with likeminded non-profits, durable medical equipment dealers and medical professionals to reach more people across different parts of the world.

Freedom Concepts Inc. continues to innovate new products and expand its worldwide reach, with its main manufacturing office in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and several key distributors in place across Canada, the United States, Australia, Ireland and the U.K. The company aims to increase its worldwide expansion and align itself around its tagline and mission:

Creating a Cycle of Mobility – The cycle of mobility — it’s more than a tagline. It’s the idea that every one of us at Freedom Concepts is dedicated to. Creating handcrafted products with pride, quality, and ingenuity, with the goal of providing therapy, recreation, and most of all, freedom."
